Weekday Masses will be at the 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. North Kildare Club are considering setting up an Active Retirement Group. They have had a positive response over the last few months. An inaugural meeting was held in early September and a 2nd meeting will take place on Tuesday next 26th September at 11.00 a.m. in the North Kildare Club. Mai Quaid, the local active retirement development officer for this area, will be in attendance. All members of the club, particularly the active retired are invited. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 10th September, 2017 Today is the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Weekday Masses will be at the 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. A Dinner and Presentation Evening has been arranged for Fr Liam in celebration of his 10 years in Maynooth Parish in the Glenroyal Hotel on Saturday 23rd September at 7.30 p.m.  At present most of the tickets are gone but have a limited amount of tickets left and they will be on sale after Mass in the main porch.  If you would like to attend, but do not have money with you today, you can leave your name and details with the ticket sellers and you can arrange to collect and pay for your ticket at the Parish Office.   The tables will not be assigned so you can choose where and with whom you want to sit. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 3rd September, 2017 Today is the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The 8.00 a.m. Mass will resume on Monday. Weekday Masses will be at the usual times of 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. A reminder to all our Senior Citizens that your morning club will reopen on Tuesday next, September 5th at 10.30 and our Committee will meet at 8pm. Our Ladys Gospel Choir in the Parish of Our Lady’s Nativity in Leixlip has a vacancy for Choir Director. We would welcome applications from suitably experienced candidates. Maynooth Scouts Split the Pot Fundraiser – Please support Maynooth Scouts by entering the Split the Pot draw, available outside all masses this weekend.  It costs €2 to enter, €1 goes to the Scouts and €1 to the jackpot, with a draw every two weeks from all the entries. You can also enter each week at supporting businesses around the town and the Scout Den. Knock Vincentian Pilgrimage, organised by Leixlip Parish  will take place on Saturday next 9th September 2017. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 20th August, 2017 Today is the 20th Sunday in ordinary time. There will be only one weekday Mass at 10.00 a.m. The Parish Pastoral Council has arranged a Pilgrimage to Glendalough on Saturday next 26th We plan to depart from the Boys School at 9.30 a.m. and return approx. 7.00 p.m. The cost will be €40. We still have a few places left so if you are interested please contact Martina in the Parish Office or any members of the Parish Pastoral Council. Please see details in the Church porches. As you are aware Fr Liam will be leaving Maynooth for Athy after 10 years as Parish Priest towards the end of September.   To celebrate his 10 years with us, we have arranged a Dinner and Presentation evening in the Glenroyal Hotel on Saturday 23rd September, 2017 at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are €25 and are available in the parish office. There is likely to be strong demand, so I encourage people to buy their tickets early. Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland will hold their Church Gate Collection at all Masses this weekend.
