Church Notices – St. Mary’s 10th November, 2019 Today is the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Congratulations to our Parish Folk Group who are celebrating their 40th Anniversary of singing in our Parish.  After this Mass there will be light refreshments in the Pastoral Centre and we ask you to come over and join us. The Meeting of Parents/Guardians of the Confirmation Classes 2020 will take place here in St Mary’s Church on Tuesday evening at 7.30 p.m. Just a reminder for those who have signed up for the Child Protection Training – this will take place on Thursday next 14th November at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Pastoral Centre. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 3rd November, 2019 Newletter Today is the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital will hold their Church Gate Collection at all Masses this weekend. Your support is very much appreciated. On Sunday afternoon there will be Prayers & Rosary at Laraghbryan Cemetery at 3.00 p.m. for those who are buried there and especially for those who died during the past year. All welcome to attend. The Finance Committee Meeting will take place in the Pastoral Centre on Monday evening at 8.00p.m. On Tuesday next you are welcome to attend the showing of the film Unplanned in the Pastoral Centre at 7.30pm. The Parish Pastoral Council will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Thursday evening at 8.00p.m. The Parish Newsletter is available at the back of the Church. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 27th October, 2019 Today is the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Monday is a bank holiday – there will be only one Mass here at 10.00 a.m. Masses for the remainder of the week will be at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. Friday next is the Feast of All Saints. Vigil Mass in St Mary’s will be at  7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.  There will also be Mass in Ladychapel on Thursday evening at 8.00 p.m.  Masses in St Mary’s on Friday will be at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. The Annual Mass for the deceased members of Maynooth GAA will take place in the Clubhouse, Moyglare Road, on Saturday 2nd November at 8.00 p.m. On Sunday next 3rd November there will be prayers and rosary at Laraghbryan Cemetery at 3.00 pm for all buried there especially all those who died during the past year. The Altar List of the Dead envelopes are available at the back of the Church. You are invited to take one and place the names of all those of your family and friends who have died on to the Altar List of the Dead.  All those whose names that are entered on the Altar List of the Dead will be prayed for at all the Masses during the month of November and on every First Friday for the coming year. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 20th October, 2019 Newsletter Today is the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time and also World Mission Sunday. The second collection today will be for the Missions. It will replace the Share Collection. Maynooth Senior Citizens Halloween Tea-Dance will take place this Sunday at 3pm in the GAA club. All are welcome. The four week Altar Serving training will begin on Tuesday next 22nd October here in St Mary’s Church from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m.   To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion. A reminder to Parish Volunteers who have not completed their Vetting Invitation to bring it to the Pastoral Centre on Tuesday evening between 6.30-9.00 p.m. with two forms of ID or to the Parish Office during the week. St Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next at 8.00 p.m. The Parish Newsletter is available after Mass. Please take a copy on your way out. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 13th October, 2019 Today is the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Church Gate Collection this weekend is in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Your generosity is very much appreciated. The Finance Committee Meeting will take place in the Pastoral Centre on Monday evening at 00 p.m. The Amoris Book Club will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Monday evening at 8 p.m. We are once again recruiting for more Altar Servers. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server please contact Külli Adamberg or Martina in the Parish Office.  To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion.  The four week training will begin on Tuesday 22nd October in St Mary’s Church from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m. This also involves a commitment from the parents/guardians – one of whom also attends the training sessions and is present in the sacristy before and after the Mass at which their child serves.  It is planned that new Altar Servers will be commissioned in time for the Christmas Ceremonies. At the moment all Parish volunteers are being Garda Vetted by the Diocese. Parish Volunteers can collect the Garda Vetting forms from the Parish Office or from the Pastoral Centre on Tuesday evening from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m. from Külli, who is the Parish Representative.   If you have completed your form, with two forms of ID, Külli will accept this from you.  If you cannot make it on Tuesday evening please drop the completed form and ID to Martina in the Parish Office.
