Church Notices – St. Mary’s 19th November, 2017 Today is the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee are holding their annual “Sale of Work” this Sunday 19th November at 3pm in Maynooth Post Primary School, Moyglare Road. Your support is very much needed and appreciated. The Parish Finance Committee will meet in the Parochial House on Monday evening at 8.00 p.m. St Joseph’s Young Priests Society will meet on Wednesday evening in the Parochial House at 8.00 p.m. Parking in Church Grounds – Parking in the church grounds continues to pose significant risk to the safety of parishioners attending church services. In the past few weeks there’s been reports of “near miss” incidents.   Please take a copy of the flyer regarding Parking in the Church Grounds on your way out. Crosscare Food Appeal: The Crosscare Food Appeal will take place from Sunday 26th November – Sunday 3rd You are invited to bring non-perishable food items and leave them in the sacristy over the next two Sundays.   Crosscare staff are trying to keep up with demand from the food banks as Christmas approaches – particularly for families in need.  Types of food urgently needed include pasta/rice, fruit juice, tea/coffee, soup, sugar, powdered milk, tinned meat/fish, tinned veg/fruit, packaged dessert, biscuits, and hygiene products. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 5th November, 2017 Today is the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. There will be prayers and rosary at Laraghbryan Cemetery at 3.00 pm (Sunday afternoon) for all buried there especially all those who died during the past year. New Altar Servers We are once again recruiting for more Altar Servers. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server please contact Fr Frank, Fr Paul, Külli Adamberg or Martina in the Parish Office. To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion. The four week training will begin on the 11th. This also involves a commitment from the parents/guardians – one of whom also attends the training sessions and is present in the sacristy before and after the Mass at which their child serves. The Dublin Diocesan Child Protection Policy is followed, (this is available in the Sacristy, Parish Office and on the Parish Website). It is planned that new Altar Servers will be commissioned in time for the Christmas Ceremonies. The Altar List of the Dead envelopes are available at the back of the Church. You are invited to take one and place the names of all those of your family and friends who have died on to the Altar List of the Dead. All those whose names that are entered on the Altar List of the Dead will be prayed for at all the Masses during the month of November and on every First Friday for the coming year.  When you have filled it in please return it in the Sunday collection basket, to the priests or the Parish Office. Church Gate collection this weekend is for CASA (Caring and Sharing Association) Your generosity is very much appreciated. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 29th October, 2017 Newsletter Today is the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Wednesday next is the Feast of All Saints. Masses in St Mary’s will be at 7.00 p.m. Vigil (Tuesday) and Wednesday 8.00 a.m., 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. There will also be Mass in Ladychapel at 8.00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. On Sunday next 5th November there will be prayers and rosary at Laraghbryan Cemetery at 3.00 pm for all buried there especially all those who died during the past year. The Altar List of the Dead envelopes are available at the back of the Church. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 22nd October, 2017 Today is Mission Sunday and also the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Weekday Masses will be at the 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. New Altar Servers needed   We are once again recruiting Altar Servers.
