Church Notices – St. Mary’s 20th October, 2019 Newsletter Today is the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time and also World Mission Sunday. The second collection today will be for the Missions. It will replace the Share Collection. Maynooth Senior Citizens Halloween Tea-Dance will take place this Sunday at 3pm in the GAA club. All are welcome. The four week Altar Serving training will begin on Tuesday next 22nd October here in St Mary’s Church from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m.   To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion. A reminder to Parish Volunteers who have not completed their Vetting Invitation to bring it to the Pastoral Centre on Tuesday evening between 6.30-9.00 p.m. with two forms of ID or to the Parish Office during the week. St Joseph’s Young Priests’ Society will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Wednesday next at 8.00 p.m. The Parish Newsletter is available after Mass. Please take a copy on your way out. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 13th October, 2019 Today is the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Church Gate Collection this weekend is in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Your generosity is very much appreciated. The Finance Committee Meeting will take place in the Pastoral Centre on Monday evening at 00 p.m. The Amoris Book Club will meet in the Pastoral Centre on Monday evening at 8 p.m. We are once again recruiting for more Altar Servers. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server please contact Külli Adamberg or Martina in the Parish Office.  To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion.  The four week training will begin on Tuesday 22nd October in St Mary’s Church from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m. This also involves a commitment from the parents/guardians – one of whom also attends the training sessions and is present in the sacristy before and after the Mass at which their child serves.  It is planned that new Altar Servers will be commissioned in time for the Christmas Ceremonies. At the moment all Parish volunteers are being Garda Vetted by the Diocese. Parish Volunteers can collect the Garda Vetting forms from the Parish Office or from the Pastoral Centre on Tuesday evening from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m. from Külli, who is the Parish Representative.   If you have completed your form, with two forms of ID, Külli will accept this from you.  If you cannot make it on Tuesday evening please drop the completed form and ID to Martina in the Parish Office. Church Notices – St. Mary’s 29th September, 2019 Newsletter Today is the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee will hold their next meeting on Tuesday October 1st at 8pm in the Geraldine Hall. All those interested in joining the committee are asked to attend. St Mary’s Brass & Reed Band together with the Garda Band will hold a Fundraising Concert to raise funds for their return visit to Germany next year. This will take place in the Glenroyal Hotel on Thursday next 3rd October at 8pm. Tickets (€10) available from Maynooth Bookshop, at the Glenroyal Reception or you can pay at the door on the night.  All welcome. The Enrolment Ceremonies for the First Communion Classes will take place next weekend at the 7.00 p.m. Mass on Saturday and the 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday.
